I think it is 6800. I was way not paying attention on Saturday and with the GF and daughter in the car I bumped it merging at 50MPH (2nd gear obviously wink)
Oh - the governor is inside the ECU and it is there for a reason. your valves won't hold up if you run it too high. I hope you weren't thinking about getting it removed. Not a good idea (and way too many $$ on a DX) unless you build your motor to handle add'l RPMs (again I don't think worth it on a d15b2) eek

My ZC revs to 7500 with my zdyne ecu before the cut comes in. I think shawn is right and the rev limit on the dx is at 6800.

Mine in my Si is at around 7500 or so. My friend has a 88 CRX Si and his is at about 6800 and we took a ECU out of a junk Si civic that i have and put it in the crx and it would only go to 6800 but when in the civic it would go to 7500. Anyone know why ??

Dont worry, i wasnt thinkin bout takin the rev limiter out, i know that is just plan stupid and asking to blow up your engine! i was just wonderin. Although i shouldnt have to worry too much about the dx engine anymore, because i'm gonna be goin D16z6 soon!
